What is Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)
Paintless Dent Repair, or PDR, removes suitable dents and hail damage without repainting the vehicle. Our technicians use specialised tools to carefully reshape the damaged panel, preserving its original paint finish.
PDR can be an effective way to repair hail dents, car park dings and minor creases where the paint has not been damaged. We assess each vehicle to determine whether PDR is suitable or whether another repair method is needed.
Light Tunnel Technology
PHMS designed its mobile Light Inspection Tunnel to help our technicians see hail damage clearly. Its LED lighting supports accurate assessments and careful checks throughout the repair process, helping us deliver a high-quality finish.

Some hail damage can be repaired with PDR, while other damage requires panel repairs and repainting. Many vehicles need a combination of both. PHMS can manage these repairs within our hail repair centres, from the initial assessment through to final quality inspection.
